Instagram feeds and email inboxes are currently rammed with temptation in the form of sales ads and discounted fashion. An endless cycle where we buy because we are drawn in by the lure of a bargain. The problem is that this just isn’t good for the planet and like any other bad habit, it needs to be broken.

How about something more meaningful? Made to order fashion is currently having a moment and not just because it’s the perfect antidote to fast fashion. It’s undergone a bit of a transformation, with an injection of new directional brands entering the space, it’s no longer seen as expensive or out of reach, it’s become much more mainstream. With customers becoming used to pre-ordering from their favourite brands, waiting for goods to be made or delivered has become a regular feature of retail. So waiting for a purchase is no longer such an issue.
